ART and DT - Fruity Faces!

We looked at the artwork of Giuseppe Arcimboldo who created artwork out of fruit and vegetables.  We used this as an inspiration for our own fruity faces, healthy snack! 

We developed our food preparation skills making our faces.  They were very tasty!

Tesco Visit

We had a great time visiting Tesco this week as part of our topic on food.
Vikki showed us around the store and behind the scenes where mums and dads can't go! 

We found out about how many fruits and vegetables they have in the store.
We looked at where the fruits and vegetables come from. After that we tested different cheeses some were more popular than others!

Darren showed us lots of different fish. We were able to hold some of them but had to wear special gloves.

We were really lucky to be able have a go at scanning products on the checkouts and print out receipts!
